What the site and the personal area collect

• When you sign in — the phone number you entered and the one-time code sent to it.
• When you book or reschedule — the animal you chose, the reason for the visit and the time.
• When you sign a document from a link — your name, an identity number if requested, the drawing of your signature, the time of signing and your device's network address.
• For security and operation — technical records of requests to the site.

What the clinic stores about you and your animal

About you: name, phone, address, e-mail and identity number. About the animal: name, species and breed, sex, date of birth, colour, microchip number and insurance. The medical record: visits, diagnoses, treatments, medicines, vaccinations, laboratory tests, imaging, hospitalisation, signed documents and invoices. Also your WhatsApp correspondence with the clinic.

Why we use the data

• To provide treatment and follow the animal's health over time.
• To send reminders for appointments and vaccinations.
• For invoices, payments and settlement with insurers and subscriptions.
• To meet official duties, such as microchip and rabies vaccination registration.

How long the data is kept

Seven years from the last visit. After that the data is deleted or moved to a closed archive.

Who the data is shared with

Only where needed for treatment or required by law, and only as far as needed:

• An external laboratory — for tests taken here.
• A microchip supplier — to register the chip.
• Bookkeeping — for invoices and reporting.
• An insurer or subscription scheme — only when you ask us to submit a claim or when treatment is covered.
• A competent authority — where the law requires it.

We share nothing for research, statistics, advertising or training.

Advertising and measurement on the site

The site carries one Google Ads measurement tag, to check how well our advertising works. The tag loads on every visit, but until you agree it runs in a mode where it is not allowed to store anything: it writes no cookies and creates no identifier of you. If you chose "no, thanks" that restriction stays in force, and the site works as usual. Only after your consent may the tag store data. You can change your choice at any time with the "change cookie choice" link at the bottom of the page. Without consent only two necessary cookies are stored: the language you picked and your answer itself.

Your accessibility settings

If you change settings in the accessibility panel — text size, contrast, font and so on — the choice is stored only in your browser, is never sent to us and does not identify you.

WhatsApp messages

The clinic writes to you on WhatsApp about your treatment: reminders for appointments and vaccinations, sign-in codes for the personal area, links to sign documents and updates about your animal. Some messages are sent by an automated assistant, and you can ask to speak to a member of staff at any time. We do not send advertising messages.

Signing in to the personal area

Sign-in uses a one-time code sent over WhatsApp to the number on your record. The code is valid only briefly. There is no password to remember.

Your rights

You may see the data held about you and your animal, receive a copy of it, correct anything that is wrong and ask for deletion. Medical records we are obliged to keep will not be deleted before the period set by law has passed. Write to petseyal@gmail.com and we will reply.

Data security

Access to the system is limited to clinic staff according to their role, sign-in is protected, and actions are written to an activity log.

Changes to this document

If we update this document, the date at the top of the page changes.
